who

Just another troll.
They get really mad if you point out that their senpai lied or messed up.

Like: Apparently it's not the artists job to know that two girls taking turn to give a guy a BJ actually doesn't count as "lesbian".

cares

Just kidding, but wow your reviews are harsh, not a single 5 star in the first 5 pages of any category reviews.

Yeah... 5 stars is literally "This is PERFECT and CANNOT be improved in ANY way."
2,5 is "Perfectly fine. Average".
And 0 would be either complete, broken dumpsterfire. Or, simply repeated fuck ups.
I have an earlier post explaining how I rate stuff. But regardless: 5's shouldn't be given out willy nilly. Far too many people give out exclusively 0 or 5. Nothing in between.

This reminds me of the "Hate out of ten" ordeal.
Like, 6/10 is a good game rating. That means its a better than average game.
I've seen far too much content here get overhyped. Seen several things with a 4,5+ and it's... just completely mediocre and super buggy/broken. Which; Has led to people leaving 0 stars as they thought said content would be amazing.

Do keep in mind my reviews are also artist specific. I judge people by their own standards.
So, a new artist with stick animations, will be graded on their skill level.
I can give a new artist a pass on drawing a pussy upside down.
But: No mercy will be shown if a "10+ year industry professional" puts it upside down. Or messes up other bare bones basic anatomy. They're at a point they should know better.

True. I guess constructive criticism isn't really a thing anymore, most people usually rate low and leave, rather than investing time and energy into a troll or bad content.

@Nue22 @Kattlarv Nah stfu bitch you know your wrong. Nobody is wrong here except for you and your dumbass cunt followers

@Nue22 @Kattlarv stfu cunt

@Nue22 don’t listen to this cunt

Cry me a river. Build a bridge. And get over it.

There is nothing wrong with giving constructive feedback but I think the way you give it is destructive. I think you like for people to improve with your reviews and opinion correct? To help them get motivated or stay motivated you ALWAYS say what you like about the already existing work. Now about the things you don't like or find lacking: question yourself this: is this really important for this person right now? Do I have to talk about the way they draw female genitalia? Or can I just say I love how they draw the shades, make up a good story, and although I find their drawing of female genitalia lacking, I think i must not make that the upmost importancy in my review. Try mentioning that, but add something like: the female genitalia need more attention though, but you are not the only one having a hard time on those because they are hard to draw. If you want to further improve your work try .... etc etc..
and end with something like: keep up the (good) work.

This way we all stay motivated and people will be more likely to not title a review hate review or jealousy review. And rather take your review surprisely serious. Or not.. but then you did your part and should let it go.

I don't know if you care about my opinion on your reviewing. I meant to have read somewhere you don't. But then this was what I could do. This is just me giving my thoughts. Don't see this as something to provoke a discussion. Not that I'm afraid of having one. But simply because it's not my intention. So I would like for you not to call me a coward or anything like that if I don't respond to your reaction to this. I don't know you that well so I like to think you would never call me that. But just in case xD

Do what you want with this @Kattlarv

PS: @ZezzX I doubt that your comments on this news are helping either. ;)

PPS: I'm no Saint either. But just felt like posting this.

I am aware part of my feedback to serial repeat offenders is destructive.
But that is mostly out of that constructive does nothing. Those people have no intention or interest to improve. Like, the FIFTH time you point out the SAME bug in the intro of a game. Or how the vulva and anus actually AREN'T a foot apart... there's not much that can be done there. And those are the times I resort to more snarky callouts.
As, I do think the errors are worth pointing out. But, any reason to be polite or silk gloves is out the windows.
Especially as, I covered in my latest psa rant: These people expect a free ride.
Ie: That all critics SHOULD ignore their fuck ups they are too lazy to fix. Because: The rest of it looks good.

Generally, I DO always point out what is good with something. Usually located at the start to ease into things. It's a very common writing technique.
And as said: I base my reviews on the ARTISTS standards. If THEY aren't okay with low quality, lazily done penises... I don't them leeway with being that lazy with vulva. If they don't tolerate X. I won't let Y pass. (Though if they DO tolerate X. I am MUCH more lenient. Context matters.)
And as said: I do this. Just not on repeat offenders. If I see someone's art pop up in the new art section on the frontpage. And, it's a guy that's been told 825 times over the past 2 years to "get his shit together" (by people other than me as well.). A "Keep up the good work!" is pointless and frankly: Patronizing. Especially if I can check the past 60 pictures, and notice he hasn't done jack shit to improve.
Calling them out for being lazy isn't the most constructive. But, pretending they are putting effort into their work would just be lying

People will call a review hate if it's less than 4 stars anyhow. I am trying to stop the whole "Only 0 or 5 star review culture" going on online atm. We have a 0-10 system for a reason. Like, 5 (or 2,5 stars in NG's case) is "good". That's completely average. It's what you expect it to be. Like, if I see a 2,5 star gloryhole thing: I'll check that out. 1-2 stars is where I might hesitate. But like... it's what it is. It's like a popcorn movie.
And the times return to review someone that refuse to change: It's simply to inform people.
Like: If the person still tags content incorrectly. If the person still lies about their content. Or just that they are doing it lazily. We don't need more people misinformed because they listened to some dumbass with a platform.

And I get where you are coming from. But: That would only work in an ideal world. We don't have an ideal world sadly.
Hope the response was coherent. I am aware you don't really have all the context for this.
But I can say this has been going on for ~10+ years. And people are pissed regardless. I've exposed fake kickstarters. People selling stolen art. Falsely advertised art packs... and people pretty much ONLY get mad at the whistleblower. Since: The person that points out the error, is to most people: The one that "ruined" it. As: Otherwise: They wouldn't have known they got scammed. Which, somehow makes the one doing the crime to begin with innocent?
But it applies similar to art too. People get mad because "now they found out there was a mistake!"... heck, I recently had people furious at me for pointing out one of their favorite porn artists sneaks scat porn into all his porn. Cuz: They hadn't noticed that. So that was clearly MY fault for pointing it out. Not the artist for lying about it not being there...
